PE Intern teaches the class

In the video above I am teaching one of my kindergarten classes. Always before P.E. games, we do mini exercises , and stretch. I am doing the exercises windmill arms, which builds their arm/bicep strength, and I'm doing a plank, which strengthens all arm muscles. This is what I am doing in the video. As a elementary P.E. intern I have learned many things to teaching. One of the things I learned was encouraging kids to make them work 110%. What I mean by this, if you encourage a kid saying "Nice job!" the kid will try harder and harder to hear more feedback of how good he/she is doing. I have noticed this a lot in my classes, they try so hard when they hear encouragement from others, and getting their second of fame. So this strategy I do a ton as a P.E. intern. I have loved being a P.E. intern for the kindergarten and second grade classes every Friday. Also the kids always enjoy P.E. class. They come in with a big smile, and leave with a bigger smile, giving me hugs saying "See you next Friday!" Practicum has been very exciting and I am happy it's not over yet!
